SCTV ~ Indonesia TV Channel

SCTV ~ Indonesia TV Channel - SCTV ( Surya Citra Televisi acronym ) is a national private television station in Indonesia. SCTV is the second private television station after RCTI in Indonesia. SCTV was born on August 24, 1990 as a local television station based in Surabaya Jl Darmo Permai, Surabaya East Java, where SCTV was initially established to broadcast events RCTI to Surabaya. Although the date was set as the date of birth of SCTV, but only at the date of 1 January 1993 SCTV aired nationally in Jakarta. SCTV operational office was gradually transferred from Surabaya to Jakarta, but remain SCTV studio in Surabaya. At first the majority of shares are owned by PT SCTV Bimantara Citra Tbk, through its subsidiary, PT Sindo Citra Media ( now the PT Surya Citra Media ). Although repeatedly switching office, SCTV always airs every day. In 1993 for example SCTV moved office to guesthouse AKR, West Jakarta which is located adjacent to the office RCTI. Then in 1996, SCTV moved to the guesthouse Indovision office again. Treading the age of 11 in 2001, SCTV and then centralize its operations in Graha SCTV Jalan Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta. And in 2007, SCTV operations centered in Senayan City. However, the relay station and studios remain centered in Kebun Jeruk. Since 1999, the majority of SCTV shares acquired by PT Surya Citra Media Tbk. In early May 2013, SCTV and Indosiar officially joined.
